WordCamp Mukono 2026 is happening on 13th–14th March 2026 at Murs Country Resort, and we invite you to be part of this exciting community-driven WordPress event.

WordCamp Mukono brings together developers, designers, content creators, business owners, educators, and WordPress enthusiasts from across Uganda and the East African region. Under the theme “Sustainable Growth — Building a Lasting WordPress Future,” this year’s event will focus on long-term impact, innovation, and community collaboration.

To make WordCamp Mukono 2026 possible, we are inviting organisations, companies, and individuals to partner with us as sponsors.

Sponsoring WordCamp Mukono is more than brand visibility — it’s an investment in people, skills, and the future of open source. Sponsoring gives you the chance to make the event accessible, affordable, and inclusive, while also putting your brand at the fore front.

Reach a diverse and engaged audience of WordPress users, developers, freelancers, agencies, startups, educators, and entrepreneurs who are actively building with WordPress. We are anticipating over 250 people showing up for the event.

Gain meaningful exposure through event promotions, on-site venue branding, website branding, digital channels, and direct interaction with attendees before, during, and after the event. Sponsor mentions during the event among others

Your sponsorship helps keep WordCamp affordable and accessible while supporting learning, collaboration, and contribution to the WordPress ecosystem in Uganda and beyond. The WordPress community in Uganda greatly supports student engagement and learning. Your Sponsorship helps to see that the students that can not afford the ticket price also get a chance to be part of this great event

WordCamps are known for authentic connections. Sponsorship gives you the opportunity to engage directly with your audience, share your story, gather metrics and build long-term relationships.

WordCamp Masaka brings together a diverse and highly engaged audience:

  • Developers & Designers: Professionals building the digital infrastructure of Uganda.
  • Entrepreneurs & Freelancers: Small business owners looking to scale their online presence.
  • NGOs & Educators: Community leaders using technology for social impact.
  • Future Talent: The next generation of ICT professionals from regional educational institutions.

We have a variety of sponsorship packages to suit different budgets and goals — from local businesses to global companies. Each package is designed to provide value, visibility, and meaningful engagement with the community.

Custom sponsorship options are also available if you have a unique idea or activation in mind, please reach out to us.

After applying to become a sponsor, you can expect the next:

  • the Sponsors team will reach out to confirm receipt of your application and start the sponsorship vetting process. This includes review of adherence to the GPL.
  • then, you can expect to get invoices/agreements for the sponsorship. Once the sponsorship agreement is signed, we’ll reach out for the rest of the content we need from you.
