It’s been a little while since we last checked in, and we hope many of you are drawing Excitement from the amazing WordPress events happening around the world!
We’ve had an exciting few weeks as we formed the organizing team and worked through key logistics, including securing the perfect venue for WordCamp Mukono 2025.
We’re excited to share some fantastic updates about WordCamp Mukono 2025!
Mark your calendars — WordCamp Mukono is officially scheduled for March 8, 2025!
We will be gathering at Synod Hall Mukono, near Bishop’s Senior School, a spacious venue that can accommodate over 400 attendees. With great lighting, proper ventilation, and accessibility for all, it’s the perfect place to host an event of this scale. Plus, it’s conveniently close to the Mukono CBD, making it easy for everyone to reach!
Mukono’s WordPress community is thriving, and we expect a fantastic turnout. With WordCamp Mukono 2025 themed “WP HERoes: Women Powering the WordPress Universe,” we’re celebrating the incredible women shaping WordPress, from contributors to business leaders.
We’re also actively engaging with local businesses, institutions, and open-source communities to make this event even more impactful. Expect exciting collaborations and opportunities to connect with WordPress enthusiasts across Uganda and beyond.
Our organizing team has been hard at work to ensure that WordCamp Mukono 2025 is a truly special experience. We are crafting a lineup of inspiring speakers, valuable sessions, and networking opportunities that celebrate and empower women in WordPress.
